Vacation is over...

...wish it didn't have to end.

As this photo shows, it is possible to choose fork in road and still end up on same path.

That picture reminds me of when I lived up in Montana a decade ago. Good times.

That picture is of the trail to Cascade Lake near Canyon in Yellowstone. The wildflowers are beautiful this year.

Where in Montana did you live? I have a brother in Missoula.

How about that, I lived in Missoula from 1997-98! Small world!

Missoula is my dad's hometown. When I was growing up and my grandparents were still alive, I spent many summers there. I still have an aunt living there - the rest of the family (my dad has two brothers and three sisters) moved away long ago. My grandfather was quite active in the community. The football field at Loyola Sacred Heart High School was named after him in 1978.

Your brother seems to have really taken to life in the Garden City. Next time I'm in Missoula (probably July 2007), I'll see if I can catch one of his performances.

I can't seem to give the vacation up. I'm totally living in mid-July.
