Latin mass

Wish I'd gone to one of those pizza masses the Catholic Church is trying to move away from!

"That includes not only the liturgy but also a church of visible discipline and hierarchical structure, the ancient discipline of the priesthood, the moral authority of bishops and the pope, a way of looking at the human relationship to God."

This made me laugh...I'm sure its a great comfort to the many victims and their families that have suffered heinous abuse at the hands of priests and bishops all over the world. Good for the Catholics- 'moral authority of the bishops' - yeah, right, tell that to God.

With our country’s current direction wouldn’t it be more forward looking to start doing mass in Spanish?

Actually the few churches I've attended semi-reularly here in Texas, esp. S. Texas, have at least one or two masses in Spanish.
