I wish wish wish

that Hillary would stop using racism as one of her tools to get votes! It makes me like her less.

I wish the Democrats would stop lying to win votes. A vain hope, I know.

Seems to me both parties overindulge in lying and manipulative techniques. And people are generally accepting of this behavior as a means of achieving goals they agree with, but get very upset about it when they don’t agree with the agenda. Hypocrisy seems to be built into our species.

That's been a big lesson for me this round of elections, as I posted before. But I think you would do well to give examples.

I find race-bating unhealthy for the country and she's done it before--when Lott stepped down from the leadership for making racially insensitive remarks, she told the press that all Republicans in the Senate are just like Lott.

Oh, really? Names please, Big Talk.

I know--can you believe Britney and Kevin? How 'bout Reese and her husband, what's his name?

I tell ya--Hollywood rips couples apart!

Hillary is predictably disingenuous and her using racism is not a surprise. I really wish she would stop screaming at us, too.

Dana

p.s. it wouldn't be politics w/out hypocrisy.

You point out that hypocrisy has been a big lesson for you this round of elections, and then ask for proof of my point? Some people are just never satisfied! :) Somehow I don’t feel additional examples are really necessary given the erudite nature of your blog and its readers/contributors - not to mention everything that has happened the last few weeks around the elections.

p.s. it wouldn't be politics w/out hypocrisy.

It wouldn't be life without hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is not a phenomenon unique to politics.
