Cabin fever

Do you ever go to your favorite editorial page thinking, "Sigh. All right. How do you want me to feel about the world today?" It's almost like church only it's daily instead of weekly.
  • Kitchen cabinets, organized
  • Living room cabinets, organized
  • Car, vacuumed clean
  • Art supplies, cleaned out and organized
  • One child at play date (keep her!)
  • One child refusing to nap
  • Husband driving home
  • Desk, tidied up
When oh when will this brutal 40 degree weather end?

Sorry, Nancy. 70 degrees here today, crisp & clear!

I used to count it almost as thrilling as Christmas when one of the boys would be at a friend's house playing - and get invited to stay for dinner, too! When older, even stay for the night! What a dif one less rascal running around made.

Wow, quite a difference between Dallas and San Antonio. It was sunny and in the mid-50s here, but I spent the afternoon indoors watching the Spurs-Lakers game.

It seems like SoCal always has nice weather.

BTW Dana, I told off David in Cathy's World after he posted that obscene comment to you.

Wow!!! If I read correctly this David Ehrenstein has been barred from some other blog? Seems to me he should be barred from Cathy's World as well.

Dana's writing exudes her ladylike quality and David was obviously looking for a way to shock her. He's used worse language before. He's kind of a big dork. He's big on opinion and invective in political discussions, but short on factual debate. He's handy in a discussion about film; that's his expertise.

As CW comments section is big on politics, he gets knocked down regularly, but keeps coming back for more. It's interesting. He's also a personal friend of Cathy's, I think.

Thanks, Nancy, for the nice words. DE strikes me as desperately lonely which is why he keeps coming back for more...thanks Mike in S.A. for the comeback to DE. I don't think he quite knew what to do with that...
