Which will arrive as the people's candidate?

VDH:
We need an Orwell to offer some psychological explanation for why an Al Gore, who gobbles up carbon-based power in his mansion and private jet, continues to harangue the less well off about their energy profligacy and threats to the planet, or why a John Edwards, who just finished a towered 28,000 sq. foot palace, claims Jesus would find us unforgiving to the poor, and serially speaks in terms of two nations, rich and poor.
C'mon! They're funny!

Democrats are hypocrites. The bogus Scooter Libby conviction is just more proof of that fact, as are David's ridiculous posts about Libby over at Cathy's World.

You are all sinners and hypocrites. These things you must acknowledge to find salvation in me.

I laughed when I read Edwards' assumption of what Jesus would be ticked off about, and then it hit me - this guy wants to be leader of the most powerful country on the planet? Yipes!

...the more I thought about this the more hypocritical it became...this is the same John Edwards showing us that Jesus would judge our bad behavior in the war and not taking care of the poor and obviously he holds this Jesus as the ultimate standard and whose judgement we should be mindful of? That's all and well but isn't this is the same John Edwards whose blogger buddies he hired for his campaign had less than respectable, perhaps even vile comments regarding this same Jesus?

At the least, John Edwards should be very embarrassed.
